Classical Options seeks to bridge the gap between live classical vocal performance and the fast-paced, global, visual digital age at the local level. Classical Options revitalizes the community concert experience by developing and performing innovative programs that combine live vocal and instrumewntal performance with other art forms including the spoken word as well as digitally presented artwork and translation. This builds audiences and fosters higher levels of music appreciation for both general audiences as well as special senior, educational and cultural groups. At the same time it preserves and furthers the live performance of quality classical vocal literature of various genres and provides opportunites for contemporary visual artists.
