Classical Options is an artistic project that blends live classical vocal performances of famous and lesser known classical songs with multimedia presentations of art, images and song texts.

The contemporary audience is no longer eager to sit in a half darkened hall, shuffling program notes as they try to understand the theme of the song being performed. As new forms of entertainment are evolving and prospering, the community concert format - once thriving - is now dying.  Modern audiences want a higher level of visual interest to enhance their musical experience.

Classical Options is creating a new synergy between music and art, developing multimedia art presentations that accompany vocal recitals.

These programs, performed primarily at the local level, help bring the classical vocal recital into the 21st century by introducing an interesting and artistically valuable visual element. Although they make the songs more accessible by having the translations disoplayed as the songs are being performed, the presentations are not merely subtitles. Rather, they are created or compiled by contemporary artists specifically for each songs, explore the themes of the songs visually and become works of art in and of themselves.
